New hospital in Katana (PHOTOS)
In the city of Katana, the province of Damascus Reef opened a new hospital. Residents of the city and neighboring settlements have been waiting for this event for a long time. The new hospital is designed to receive up to 1 thousand people a day.
The new building houses the offices of the outpatient clinic and the hospital. On the second floor there are offices of a dentist, a General practitioner, a physiotherapist, a room for taking blood samples for clinical research, a registry, a vaccination, a treatment pharmacy, as well as a restroom for people with disabilities.
On the third floor there are offices of pediatrician, obstetrician-gynecologist, operating room, vaccination for children, residency and other premises for working staff. The operating room is equipped with modern equipment and allows for complex operations.
The hospital is equipped with wards for round-the-clock stay of 50 patients and day care. In addition, the three-storey building has special facilities designed to ensure the Autonomous functioning of the hospital. Also, the building of the economic block was built nearby, the landscaping was carried out.
