«Suffocating smell of death»: assault operation and bloodbath in Syria's East (VIDEO, PHOTOS 18+)

On Wednesday the US President announced another final victory over ISIS in Syria and destruction of their last stronghold in the Syrian village of Baguz Fokani on the left bank of Euphrates in Deir ez-Zor province.

That this was the third so called capture of El-Baguz El-Fokani by the American Coalition and the detachments of the Kurdish-Arab “Syrian Democratic Forces” supported by them in the last 18 months. In fact, this victory has not been achieved - storming of a small piece of land has been going on for months. NATO forces are dropping tons of air bombs and artillery shells there.

After Trump's latest victory announcement Kurdish journalists and activists reported that the operation was continuing.

Several hours ago «Al Jazeera» released a piece titled «”Suffocating smell of death” as SDF attacks last ISIL pocket».

«Amid fierce fighting, ISIL fighters remain squeezed in a few hundred metres in besieged Baghouz village, SDF says», — reads article’s preview.

US airstrikes continue

The Kurds are also publishing cadres of new bombings that were inflicted that night on a settlement allegedly completely liberated from ISIS.

“New airstrikes and clashes on a small area, Baguz, where “Syrian Democratic Forces” are still facing ISIS militants who refused to surrender,” writes one of the Kurdish activists.

Horrible price

The victory so close yet not achieved has already cost the complete destruction of all civilian infrastructure and the deaths of no less than seven thousand local residents (preliminary figures say so), which is 25% of the entire pre-war population of the so-called “Hajin Triangle”.

The Americans repeated their "act of valour" as it was with Raqqa, where behind the loud statements about the victory over ISIS* there were only ruins and mountains of corpses.

But as the facts say, the Americans haven’t coped with ISIS. A number of gang leaders with their families were evacuated from Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor by US helicopters.

The hundreds of terrorists were given the opportunity to flee in the direction of Iraq. Now they are trying to penetrate into Syrian territory in small groups. Their families were taken by the Americans as hostages to the “El-Khol” camp in Al-Hasakah province. More than two hundred ISIS militants, who surrendered near El-Beguz El-Fokani were forwarded through Jordan to At-Tanf guarded by the US soldiers. As for foreign mercenaries, most of them "disappeared into thin air".

Thanks to such coalition’s actions the terrorists still maintain their presence in the Syrian desert and a number of Iraqi provinces.

By way of comparison, the government forces supported by the Russian Air Forces freed up three and a half times the territory of Syria in a much shorter time, defeating the largest and most combat-ready ISIS groups, having liberated such cities as Palmyra, Deir ez-Zor, Abu Kemal, Meyadin and others.

US-backed SDF forces have mainly been operaing in desert area with no fortified areas of militants, with no heavily populated areas, without conducting a single humanitarian operation to save the local residents.

The United States military machine shows so low indicators which are no match for the tremendous successes in the liberation of the Syrian land from ISIS by government troops supported by the Russian Air Forces.
